Hi! I'm Jennie Lane, a student Journalist at Algonquin College. I currently get to work with the Algonquin Times but I also like to write for myself.

I've been writing stories for my own enjoyment since I was young and have taken up Journalism now. Journalism is a career choice I set up my High School credits for, knowing it was my dream job.

I'm happily Canadian (aside for the cold) and I've always lived in and loved Ottawa. I enjoy the people and the familiar places though I'd love the chance to travel.

I wanted the chance to start writing for myself again and covering stories I want to do along with working with the school paper. I plan on posting here my own writing and my school article. I've found a love in Photography as well and include images for both types of work.
